Prepare yourself for lots of fun!

Brush your pet - if its of the brushable variety and you wish to do so.

Check its eyes are clean and gunk free.

Exercise it beforehand, but not too much (this helps, if its in need of calming down a little).

Take its collar off - but only if we are shooting in a secure location.

In this litigious age I have to point out that you are responsible for your dog at all times and for his or her compliance with the law - as their owner you will know where and when they can be let off the lead and what their behaviour is likely to be. .
